Storage fees are calculated in calendar days from the day after the 5-day free period expires. The first day of the free period starts the day after vessel discharge.

Fees related to international container movements (import/export) are exempt from GST/QST pursuant to the Excise Tax Act (Canada) and the Act respecting the Québec sales tax. International maritime transportation and related terminal handling services qualify as zero-rated supplies under Schedule VI of the Excise Tax Act.
Domestic movements and ancillary services (e.g., local drayage, re-handling) may be subject to applicable taxes. Please refer to your invoice for the detailed tax breakdown.
